ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping Black and Hispanic adults who have cancer connect with clinical trials that could offer new treatment options. The researchers want to test a special online tool called the ALEX Research Portal, which is designed to guide patients and their families through the process of finding and joining these trials. The goal is to make sure that underrepresented groups in cancer research have better access to these important opportunities.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult aged 18 to 100 who can read English or Spanish at a basic level. You should also belong to a racial or ethnic group that is usually less represented in cancer trials, like Black or Hispanic individuals. Additionally, you'll need to have an email account or be able to receive text messages and live in Florida. If you decide to join, you can expect to learn how to use the portal and receive support in exploring clinical trial options. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it's an important step toward improving access to cancer care for everyone.
