ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the use of a special gel called erythropoietin to help improve healing after a specific dental surgery designed to increase the width of attached gums. The goal is to see if applying this gel on the surgery site can help reduce discomfort after the procedure and improve patient satisfaction, while also increasing the amount of attached gum tissue.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 20 and 40 years old, in good overall health, and meet certain dental conditions, such as having less than 2mm of attached gum tissue in the front of your lower teeth. Unfortunately, smokers, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals with certain dental issues or health concerns cannot take part. If you join the study, you can expect to receive the erythropoietin gel during your treatment and will be asked to follow up to monitor your healing process. This research aims to find better ways to support recovery after dental surgeries.
