ClinConnect Summary
The ARTEMIS trial is a study looking at how a mobile app can help adults with obesity manage their weight more effectively. The app aims to support users in making healthier choices and developing better habits to regulate their weight every day. This trial is currently active but not recruiting new participants.
To join the study, you need to be at least 18 years old, live with obesity (which means having a body mass index or BMI of 30 or higher, or 27.5 or higher for certain ethnic groups), and be a full-time resident of the UK. Participants should also have access to the internet and a smartphone, as well as a digital weighing scale. It's important that you are not currently in another weight management program or study, haven’t lost a significant amount of weight recently, and are not planning to have weight-loss surgery in the near future. If you join, you’ll be using the app to track your progress and receive support, helping you work towards your weight loss goals in a structured way.
