ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using a special exercise bike, called a cycle ergometer with biofeedback, can improve deep sensation in older adults with knee osteoarthritis. Knee osteoarthritis is a condition that causes pain and stiffness in the knee joint. The goal of the study is to see if this exercise method can help people feel better and function more effectively.
To participate, individuals need to be between 40 and 75 years old and have a specific type of knee osteoarthritis, which is not too severe. However, those with certain conditions, like previous knee surgeries, diabetes, or vision problems, will not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to engage in exercise sessions while receiving feedback on your performance, which may help improve your sensation and overall quality of life. The study is currently recruiting participants, and it could be a great opportunity for those looking for new ways to manage knee pain and improve their mobility.
