ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special program called the Body Project can help adult women with higher body weight who want to lose weight. The study aims to see if this program can reduce concerns about weight and body shape and whether it can also help participants lose weight. Women aged 18 to 65 with a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 25 and 40, who have worries about their weight and body shape, and who want to lose weight may be eligible to participate.
If you join the trial, you will engage in the Body Project program, which includes activities and discussions focused on body image and healthy weight loss strategies. To participate, you should have a personal cell phone, be able to do moderate exercise, and not have any history of eating disorders or recent pregnancy. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria and is interested in improving their body image and weight, this could be a great opportunity!
