ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a substance called adenosine deaminase (ADA) and a type of antibody known as Immunoglobulin E (IgE) in patients with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU). CSU is a condition that causes itchy hives to appear on the skin without a clear cause. The researchers want to see if the levels of ADA and IgE in the blood are different in people with CSU compared to healthy individuals. This study is important because it may help us understand more about CSU and find better ways to treat it.
To participate in this trial, you must be an adult diagnosed with CSU, and you'll need to be matched with a healthy control (someone without the condition) in terms of age and gender. However, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have certain other health issues like autoimmune diseases or infections, or are taking specific medications, you won’t be able to join the study. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon on how to get involved if you meet the criteria.
