ClinConnect Summary

The "Piloting a Healthy Aging Cohort in Manitoba" study is looking to understand how using fitness facilities, along with lifestyle choices, can affect health as we get older. The goal of this pilot study is to gather initial data and involve community members in deciding what aspects of healthy aging should be focused on in a larger study. This research will help us learn more about how staying active and making healthy choices might improve our overall well-being as we age.

To participate in this study, you need to be at least 30 years old, a member of the Wellness Institute, and able to communicate in English. You should also have access to a smartphone or tablet for tracking your diet. If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you won't be eligible. If you join, you can expect to provide information about your health and habits, which will help shape future research on healthy aging. This is a great opportunity to contribute to important research that could benefit many people in our community!
