ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the immediate effects of a special garment called the Mollii Suit on children with spastic cerebral palsy, which is a condition that affects movement and muscle control. The researchers want to see if wearing this suit can help improve balance and reduce muscle stiffness in these children. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it is open to children aged 4 to 18 who have been diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy and are classified as having mild to moderate motor challenges.
To be eligible for the study, children must be willing to participate, have a diagnosis of spastic cerebral palsy, and fall within the age range mentioned. However, children with more severe motor challenges (classified as GMFCS levels 3, 4, or 5) or those who have had certain medical treatments recently may not be able to join. If your child is selected to take part, they will wear the Mollii Suit during the study, and the team will assess its effects on their balance and muscle tone. This trial aims to gather valuable information that could help improve therapies for children with this condition.
