ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is comparing two surgical procedures, sacrospinous fixation and V-notes lateral suspension, to see how well they help women with a condition called genital prolapse. Genital prolapse occurs when pelvic organs drop from their normal position, which can cause discomfort and other issues. The goal of the study is to learn which method better improves patients' physical recovery, overall effectiveness, and quality of life after surgery.
To participate in this trial, women between the ages of 35 and 75 who do not have certain pelvic or cervical health issues may be eligible. If you join the study, you will receive one of the two surgical treatments, and doctors will closely monitor your recovery and improvements over time. This research is taking place at a gynecology and obstetrics clinic, and it aims to help improve care for women facing genital prolapse in the future.
