ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new method called Hysterosalpingo-Foam Sonography (HyFoSy) to check if the fallopian tubes are open in women facing infertility. The fallopian tubes are important for conception, and problems with them can affect a woman's ability to get pregnant. Currently, a more invasive method called laparoscopy is the standard test, but it carries risks and requires general anesthesia. HyFoSy, on the other hand, is a less invasive test that uses a special foam to visualize the tubes and can be done in a doctor's office, making it more convenient and potentially less painful.
Women who are between the ages of 18 and 40, sexually active, and experiencing infertility may be eligible to participate in this trial. However, those who are currently pregnant, have heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic inflammatory disease, or an allergy to lidocaine will not be able to take part. If you join the study, you can expect a quick and efficient assessment of your reproductive health, which may also help increase the chances of pregnancy afterward.
