ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a natural supplement that includes ingredients like Berberine, Artichoke Extract, Phytosterols, and Fenugreek. The goal is to see how well this combination can improve cholesterol levels in people with dyslipidemias, which means having unhealthy levels of fats in the blood. The trial is currently looking for participants aged 65 to 74 who have a specific range of LDL cholesterol levels (the "bad" cholesterol) between 115 and 190 mg/dl and are not currently taking any medications to lower cholesterol.
To join the study, individuals must not have certain health conditions, such as cancer, liver disease, kidney failure, or diabetes. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as those with allergies to any of the ingredients, are also excluded. Participants can expect to take the supplement as part of the study and help researchers understand its effects on heart health. This trial is an opportunity to contribute to important research while monitoring cholesterol levels in a supportive environment.
