ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a specific surgical technique to treat multiple areas of gum recession, which is when the gums pull back from the teeth, exposing more of the tooth and possibly leading to sensitivity or other dental issues. The researchers are comparing two ways of placing a special tissue graft (a small piece of tissue taken from elsewhere) during the surgery to see which method helps the gums heal better.

To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have gum recession in more than one area of your mouth. However, there are some conditions that may exclude you, such as having high levels of plaque or bleeding in your mouth, smoking, certain health issues, or if you've had gum surgery in the same area before. If you choose to join, you can expect to receive care and attention from the research team as they monitor your healing process after the procedure. This trial is currently looking for participants, and anyone interested should consider discussing it with their dentist or healthcare provider.
