• Inclusion Criteria:
• • age \>/= 18 years;
• • presence of deep endometriotic nodule(s) infiltrating the tunica muscularis of the sigmoid colon/rectum.
• Exclusion Criteria:
• * age \<18 years:
• • presence of coexisting inflammatory bowel disease;
• • patients who have received previous pelvic radiotherapy.
