ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring ways to help men who have sex with men (MSM) notify their sexual partners when they have been diagnosed with HIV. The goal is to encourage these partners to get tested for HIV and access prevention or treatment options, which can help reduce the spread of the virus. Researchers are testing two different methods: a digital tool that makes it easier to notify partners and a personal counseling interview. They want to see how effective these methods are and how comfortable both the HIV-positive individuals and their partners feel about using them in France.

To be eligible for the study, participants must be men aged 18 or older, who have had sexual contact with at least two men in the past year, and have been diagnosed with HIV within the last three months. Participants will receive support and guidance during the process, and their experiences will help shape future best practices for notifying partners about potential HIV exposure. This research aims to improve testing and prevention efforts, not only for MSM but also for other groups in the future.
