ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is examining two different methods of pain relief for patients who are having laparoscopic appendectomy surgeries, which are minimally invasive surgeries to remove the appendix. The two methods being compared are called M-TAPA block and TAP block, both of which aim to help reduce pain after the surgery. The study will help determine which method works better for managing post-operative pain.

To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult over the age of 18 who is scheduled for a laparoscopic appendectomy. You should be in good health according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists' classification, which evaluates your overall health and risk during surgery. However, there are some reasons you might not be eligible, such as having certain medical conditions or allergies. If you decide to join the study, you'll receive one of the pain relief methods and will be monitored to see how well it works for you after your surgery. Please note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so it may be a while before you can sign up.
