ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a type of therapy called Common Factors Group Psychotherapy, which focuses on techniques and communication skills that are shared across different types of therapy. The goal is to see if mental health professionals can effectively help people with various mental health issues, like depression, anxiety, and stress disorders, using this general approach instead of specialized therapies that require specific training.
To participate in the study, you must be at least 18 years old and experiencing some level of psychological distress. However, if you have recently harmed yourself, have had thoughts of suicide, or have certain other mental health conditions, you may not be eligible to join. If you do decide to participate, you can expect to engage in group therapy sessions where you’ll learn coping strategies and share experiences with others facing similar challenges. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and it aims to provide valuable insights into more flexible treatment options for mental health care.
