ClinConnect Summary
The ENTRUST trial is studying a program designed to help transgender women in Florida who are facing economic challenges and are at a higher risk for substance use disorders and HIV. This program aims to provide financial education and tailored counseling to support these women in accessing services for substance use and HIV care. Participants will either receive the ENTRUST intervention or be placed on a waitlist, with the chance to join the program later. The goal is to determine how acceptable and effective this intervention is over a six-month period.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be adult transgender women who are economically vulnerable, speak either English or Spanish, and live in South or Central Florida. The study requires participants to attend a series of visits, with some taking place in person at designated locations in Orlando or Miami. This trial is not yet recruiting, but if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a valuable opportunity to receive support and resources while contributing to important research.
