ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment called Transcranial Pulse Stimulation (TPS) to see if it can help improve thinking and memory skills in people with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s is a condition that affects memory and the ability to think, and currently, there are no effective treatments to slow it down. The goal of this study is to explore whether this innovative technique can make a positive difference for patients.
To join the trial, participants must be at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with early dementia for at least a year, and be able to give their consent to participate. However, individuals who have certain medical conditions or health issues that could affect their ability to undergo tests or the treatment will not be eligible. During the trial, participants can expect to receive TPS and undergo assessments to track any changes in their cognitive abilities. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to enhance care for those living with Alzheimer’s disease.
