ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how cancer spreads to lymph nodes and nearby tissues in patients with a specific type of stomach cancer called gastric adenocarcinoma. The study will focus on patients who have undergone a particular surgery called distal gastrectomy, where part of the stomach is removed, along with a detailed removal of lymph nodes and surrounding tissue. The goal is to understand better how cancer behaves after this surgery and to gather important information that could help improve treatment.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 85 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of gastric adenocarcinoma. They should have a specific stage of cancer that has not spread to distant parts of the body. Patients who have previously had certain other treatments or surgeries, or who have a high body weight, may not qualify. If chosen to participate, individuals can expect to contribute to important research that could benefit future patients, and they will be closely monitored by medical professionals throughout the study.
