ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying orthodontic mini-implants, which are small temporary screws made of a special titanium alloy. These mini-implants help orthodontists move teeth more effectively when standard methods aren’t enough. The trial aims to understand how these mini-implants change in shape and wear after being used in patients. Once the orthodontic treatment is complete, the mini-implants will be removed and examined in a lab to see how they performed.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be adults currently undergoing orthodontic treatment with braces and have a specific treatment plan that requires these mini-implants for certain tooth movements. Participants will need to give their consent to join the trial. Throughout the study, patients can expect to have their mini-implants inserted as part of their regular treatment, and once the treatment is complete, the mini-implants will be carefully removed for further analysis. This research is important as it helps improve future orthodontic techniques and patient care.

- • Informed consent of the patient.
- Exclusion Criteria:
- • Individualized treatment plan involving the use of a mini-implant different from the one used in the study.
