ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the angle of a person's shoulder affects their ability to feel where their shoulder is in space (called proprioception) and their level of disability when dealing with shoulder pain, specifically in conditions like Subacromial Impingement Syndrome. Researchers will use MRI images to measure the critical shoulder angle in people experiencing shoulder pain and see how this angle relates to their movement and everyday functioning.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 25 and 70 years old and have had shoulder pain for at least three months due to a mild to moderate form of Subacromial Impingement. However, individuals who have had shoulder surgery, certain medical conditions, recent physiotherapy, or specific injuries will not be included. Participants in the trial will contribute to important research that could help improve understanding and treatment of shoulder problems in the future.
