ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a technique called manual diaphragmatic release to see if it can help improve exercise capacity, sleep quality, and overall quality of life for older adults with type II diabetes. The goal is to find out if this technique can also help with chest expansion, daily activities, and fatigue. The trial is currently looking for participants who are at least 55 years old, have had type II diabetes for more than a year, and have their blood sugar levels well controlled.
To be eligible, participants should have a body mass index (BMI) of less than 30 and must be in stable health. However, those with certain health issues, such as chest diseases or recent surgeries that could affect the diaphragm, will not be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to follow a training program and provide feedback through questionnaires about your health and well-being. This trial aims to find ways to help improve the lives of older adults living with diabetes.
