ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of taking naps on emotional regulation for people who have recently suffered a mild traumatic brain injury, commonly known as a concussion. Concussions can lead to a range of challenging symptoms, including difficulties with emotions and sleep. The researchers want to find out if napping can help individuals manage their emotions better and if it makes it easier for them to control their feelings after a concussion. This could be a simple and low-risk way to help those dealing with emotional issues following their injury.

To participate in the study, you need to be between 18 and 35 years old and have had your first concussion within the last 2-3 weeks. It's important that you have normal vision (with correction if needed) and do not have any sleep disorders or work night shifts. If eligible, participants can expect a supportive environment where they will take naps and share their experiences about how it affects their emotions. This research could potentially provide valuable insights into helping people recover from concussions.
