ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called a ganglion impar block, which uses ultrasound to help relieve chronic pain in the tailbone area, known as coccydynia. The goal is to see how effective and reliable this procedure is for patients who have been experiencing pain for at least three months and have not found relief from other treatments.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and scheduled for this specific procedure at a pain management clinic. However, if you have an infection where the injection would be given, a bleeding disorder, a history of allergic reactions to the medications being used, or if you are pregnant, you wouldn't be able to join the study. If you do participate, you can expect to undergo the ganglion impar block procedure and help researchers understand how well it works for people like you. This trial is currently not recruiting participants yet, but it aims to provide valuable insights into managing chronic coccygodynia.
