ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying an online training course designed for leaders in healthcare settings. The goal is to see if this training can help improve the skills of staff in using evidence-based practices, which means using the best available research to guide their work. The trial will also look at whether the training boosts staff confidence, enhances leadership for implementing these practices, improves the overall quality of patient care, and reduces staff absences, such as sick leaves.
To be eligible to join the trial, participants need to be unit leaders in a healthcare organization who can read, write, and speak Finnish. They should also be officially recognized in their managerial roles and willing to participate. If they join, participants will engage in a seven-month online course that includes reading materials, completing assignments, and discussing with peers. The training will involve self-assessment and reflection, and participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the course. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable insights into how online training can make a difference in healthcare settings.
