ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how listening to the Quran might improve the quality of life and sleep for patients with breast cancer who are undergoing chemotherapy. The research will involve 40 patients at Erzurum City Hospital, where participants will be randomly assigned to either listen to Quran recitations or not during their treatment. The study will measure changes in their overall well-being and sleep quality at four different points throughout their chemotherapy sessions.
To take part in this study, individuals must be over 18 years old, currently diagnosed with breast cancer, and receiving chemotherapy every 21 days. It's important that participants can communicate well and are willing to join the study. However, those with hearing problems, ear infections, or other types of cancer will not be eligible. Participants can expect to share feedback about their quality of life and sleep, helping researchers understand the potential benefits of Quran recitation during treatment.
