ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how providing information to caregivers of stroke patients can help reduce their stress and improve their ability to take care of themselves. Stroke can leave patients partially or completely dependent on others for daily activities, which places a heavy burden on family members or caregivers. This burden can lead to physical and emotional challenges for caregivers, making it harder for them to manage their own lives. The goal of the study is to see if offering training and support to these caregivers can lessen their difficulties and improve their self-care skills.
To participate in this study, caregivers must be at least 18 years old, able to understand and speak Turkish, and be responsible for caring for a stroke patient in the hospital and at home. Caregivers who have psychiatric issues or problems with hearing, speech, or sight are not eligible. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, caregivers can expect to receive helpful information and support aimed at making their caregiving experience easier and more manageable.
