ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how earthquake preparedness training affects nursing students in Turkey, a country that is prone to earthquakes. The goal is to see if this training helps students better understand what to do before, during, and after an earthquake, which is important for their future roles as healthcare professionals. By improving their knowledge and attitudes toward earthquakes, the researchers hope to enhance the students' ability to respond effectively during disasters.
To participate in this study, students need to be in their final year of nursing school, regularly attend earthquake preparedness training, and volunteer for the study. Participants will take part in assessments before and after a 12-week training program to measure their knowledge and readiness related to earthquakes. It's important to note that students who have already completed a disaster management course or who miss training sessions may not be eligible to participate. Overall, this study aims to strengthen the role of nursing students in managing disasters and ensuring public safety.
