ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two new ways to make transporting patients in wheelchairs more comfortable and quicker, especially for those receiving cancer treatments at Gustave Roussy. The first part of the study will look at a special system that connects patients' IV poles (the stands that hold their medication) to their wheelchairs, which could help reduce the time they spend being moved around. The second part will focus on testing a new type of wheelchair seat to see if it’s more comfortable for the patients.
To take part in this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old, able to read and speak French, and have certain medical needs, such as multiple infusion devices or being transported from their hospital room to the radiology department. Before joining, they will be informed about the study and must give their consent. Throughout the trial, patients can expect to be asked about their comfort and any pain they experience during transport. This study aims to improve the overall experience of patients being moved within the hospital, making their time there as comfortable as possible.
