ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how two different therapies—instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and vibration therapy—can help people with neck pain caused by a condition called cervical disc herniation. Researchers want to see if these therapies can reduce pain, improve how well participants can move, help with body awareness (proprioception), and lessen the fear of movement. In total, 66 people who have had neck pain for at least three weeks and have limited neck movement may take part. Eligible participants must not have other serious neck or back issues, recent trauma to the neck, or have received physical therapy in the past six months.
If you join the study, you will be randomly placed into one of three groups: one receiving vibration therapy, another receiving IASTM, and a third doing regular exercise. Everyone will also get standard physiotherapy. Throughout the trial, your pain levels and movement ability will be measured, so you can see how well the treatments are working for you. The goal is to find out which therapy is more effective in helping people feel better and move more freely. If you’re interested in participating, this could be a great opportunity to explore new ways to manage your neck pain.
