ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercises (PMRE) can help young women with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), which includes symptoms like mood swings, anxiety, and irritability. The goal is to see if these relaxation exercises can improve these symptoms and make a difference in the lives of those who experience PMS. This study is important because PMS is a common issue for many women, and finding effective ways to manage it can enhance their overall well-being.

To participate in this study, women must be between the ages of 18 and 24 and study at Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Health Sciences. They should have a PMS score of 11 or higher, which indicates they experience significant symptoms. However, women who cannot speak Turkish, have difficulty communicating, or cannot follow the exercise program will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in regular relaxation exercises and contribute to valuable research that could help improve treatments for PMS in the future.
